I am looking at a LV strip hotel for Dec 23-31 2013.

I see the following interesting options:

We don't really want Tropicana and we DO really like Excalibur. There's a 57$ deal a night on Excalibur for these dates so we're considering if we should avoid the risk and pay 15$ more a night to be sure we get the Excalibur. We'll update once we order.

Do note (if you're not aware) that the Tropicana has recently been renovated and is now part of the Doubletree chain of hotels.
