Priceline Hotel: 5* New York City (Downtown - Financial District) Conrad New York

Fairly new to this cool site, could use some help on an NYC bidding question re April 25 for one night. PL retail side offers two 5* hotels in Downtown-Financial District (at least I think it's DFD - they call it "Wall Street" on the retail side), Conrad NY and Ritz Carlton Battery Park. Retail for Conrad is $350 marked down from $389. PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal includes a 5* hotel in DFD for $277. However, NYOP has no 5* hotels at all in DFD. Am I missing something or NYOP simply not an option at this point in time for 5* in DFD?

In terms of hotel ID, do you agree that the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal for a 5* in DFD for $277 is highly likely to be Conrad New York?

BTW, in regard to hotel ID question, the bed options under the DFD Express Deal refer to "suites" and I believe Conrad New York is all (or very nearly all) suites.

My guess would be the Conrad, which is an all-suite property (it was an Embassy Suites, but it was totally renovated/remodeled a year or so ago.)

We did decide to book this and we did in fact get the Conrad.

I cannot say that I am 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure you are right that the only amenities showing before purchase were pets allowed and business center. If it helps, I am 100% certain that it had a "bed choice available" icon and that it did NOT have a free internet icon (Conrad has generally excellent reviews but it's worth noting that many reviewers have commented - correctly in my view - that a 5* hotel ought to have free internet rather than wifi available for a fee).

Thank you for the follow-up. While unfortunately the property does not offer free wi-fi, it does at least offer free breakfast (which is a carryover from when it was an Embassy Suites property.)
