blanding
HelloI'm looking to take a trip out of BWI airport. I have stayed at the ALoft hotel previously (not using priceline) and they offer free parking and shuttle from their hotel to BWI. At the Aloft, they just say park the car in the back of the hotel and pick it up when you return. They never required any tag or slip on the dashboard or anything. The Hilton next door used the same shuttle vans and had the same policy.Curious if I take advantage of a priceline win at a BWI Airport hotel, can I take advantage of the free parking perk as well? Any insight from fellow priceline bidders who did the same? Link to comment
yellowdog
The rules shouldn't be any diffrent if you book with PRICELINE or at rack rate. But to be on the safe side so call the hotel and ask so the free parking hasn't changed, things like this can change at any time.Let us know how we can help you further.Yellowdog.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. AaronJB
Some hotels at airports may have no problem with a guest leaving their car for a longer period, but I think that seems unusual in an era where many hotels charge a fee and/or make it part of a "package deal" ("park and fly" package) If a hotel charges additional for long-term parking as part of a package, that definitely may not be accessible to PRICELINE users (you'd have to try to negotiate with the hotel.) If you were to get a hotel that lets everyone park long-term for free, then a PRICELINE user should be able to do that as well. However, while I haven't investigated all of the hotels at BWI, I'd have to imagine some hotels may charge for long-term parking (and there's no way to guarantee a particular hotel when bidding.)If you need assistance with your stay, please provide the details of your stay (budget, zone, date/s and any other relevant information.)Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
