laurent221 Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 I got 78USD per night quote for 2 adults and 2 kidsI guess from the hotels list it is the Country innit is a 3 star hotel , 95% recommended with the following amenities3-star Hotel in Cocoa Beach - Cape CanaveralThis Hotel features the following amenities:Free ParkingFree BreakfastFree InternetPool(s)Business CenterLaundry Facilities (self-service)High-Speed Internet AccessAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible path Accessible bathroomHandicapped parkingRoll-in showerIs it a good rate for this season? The holiday inn has the same amenities but I guess it is as well rated
thereuare Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 I'd agree, best guess for this property would be the Country Inn and Suites. This rate is about $45/nite less then retail. Nobody can say if rates will come down, or move higher, from there, but besides price risk there is also quality risk... assuming this property would work for your needs, i'd be favorable on this offering simply due to the very high 4.5/5.0 TA rating... even if something comes along down the road that is a little cheaper, is it a better/worse deal if it has (for example) a 3.5/5.0 TA rating. I'm usually willing to pay a little extra to know i'm getting a quality property with good reviews, and the other point since you're a group of four, is knowing that you get free breakfast at this property... what if another hotel appear at $70 but doesn't include breakfast? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. laurent221 Posted March 17, 2013 Author Report Posted March 17, 2013 Hello again thereuaretoo bad I find your post now.I found this one at 77USDI would guess it is the same one but without the breakfast which makes a less attractive deal (nevertheless IF it the country inn, it appears the free bkfst is a self service so...)What do you think?3 star Cocoa Beach - Cape Canaveral, 95% recommendedFree Parking<amenity names only please... not descriptions>Free Internet<amenity names only please... not descriptions>Pool(s)Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal.Business CenterGuests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply.Laundry Facilities (self-service)<amenity names only please... not descriptions>High-Speed Internet AccessGuestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply.Accessible path of travel<amenity names only please... not descriptions>In-room accessibilityAccessible path from the room entrance to the window, the bed and the bathroom; accessible hardware and minimal resistance to open the door; accessible temperature controls and window coveringsAccessible bathroomRaised toilet, hand-held shower and grab bars at the tub and toiletHandicapped parking<amenity names only please... not descriptions>Roll-in showerBathroom has a roll-in shower
AaronJB Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. Given that it doesn't offer breakfast, I'm guessing it's something different - possibly the Radisson, although it could certainly be something else. However, the property gets excellent reviews across the board from HOTWIRE customers - so the mystery property is well-liked.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
laurent221 Posted March 18, 2013 Author Report Posted March 18, 2013 Same offer is back with free breakfast so probably not a new hotel

laurent221 Posted March 18, 2013 Author Report Posted March 18, 2013 In fact I keep hesitating between this offer and a modifiable one at La Quinta Inn in Cocoa Beach dwtn which are at the same price 184 USD totalLa Quinta is closer to the beach, Country Inn looks more modern
thereuare Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 I think you're down to personal preference, but if you continue to wait the decision may be made for you by the HOTWIRE offer disappearing (or going up on price) or the same with the La Quinta (if you haven't already reserved that as a refundable back-up)Let us know whatever you decide or if we can be of further help. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or the La Quitna link in our Support Page should you decide to book direct.Good luck!
