juliand
I bid $90 for a name your own price and was offered the express deal at $115. a night. I haven't used PRICELINE for a while and was unfamiliar with this. I guess you can just go to PRICELINE EXPRESS? This was just the result of my offer of $90 which was turned down and then this offer appeared on the page with the refusal. Thanks for your help!! Link to comment
thereuare
PRICELINE EXPRESS is a new product from PRICELINE that much resembles HOTWIRE where the star rating, price, and some amenities are shown... but not the hotel name; you decide if you're interested in the property at that price or not.Just like when PRICELINE first introduced their 'retail' product (where the price and hotel names are shown before your purchase) and would sometimes re-direct users to the retail listings after a rejected bid, i suppose they are doing the same now and re-directing some rejected bids to a PRICELINE EXPRESS offer... this is the first example i have heard of them doing so but it seems to make sense. If you want to continue bidding and are unable to do so from the screen you're re-directed to, and have re-bid zones available, you can close the current browser, use a link on the board to re-access PRICELINE, and continue to bid using your re-bid zones just as if your rejected bid was sent to the more common 'try your bid again now' screen. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help.
