kacielynn28 Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 I am trying to figure out if this hotel on HOTWIRE is the Flamingo hotel and casino in Las vegas or Harrahs hotel and casino in Las vegas. It is confusing because they are both extremely similar in the amenities section on their websites. We are trying to stay July 9th and check out on July 12th. This is how it is listed on HOTWIRE:The Strip North Area Hotel3.5 star hotel at 40 per room per night.AmenitiesFree Parking Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower So which is it? Harrahs or Flamingo? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
AaronJB Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. My guess would be a new amenity set for Harrah's.You can find the hotels that have been reported to the board here: Hotwire Hotel List Nevada.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 I assume there is a Casino amenity listed as well?If so i'd agree that Harrah's would be the best guess. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. kacielynn28 Posted March 12, 2013 Author Report Posted March 12, 2013 Yes the casino is listed as an amenity as well. I guess the thing distinguishing it to harrahs is the fact that it says its near a golf course. I was just hoping it was for flamingo.
thereuare Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Harrahs and Flamingo are just a block away from each other so if one could have the Golf nearby amenity listed the other would certainly qualify for it as well (just don't want anyone else to get confused in this regard in the future). What is the hotel direct price of the room class you're seeking at the Flamingo, as you might be able to upgrade your star class for about the same or not much more (especially now that the Flamingo has started to charge a resort fee)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. kacielynn28 Posted March 13, 2013 Author Report Posted March 13, 2013 I am really just seeking the flamingo because of the pool. Obviously the lowest price is best.
thereuare Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 If that is the only hotel you're willing to accept i would book it thru non-opaque means. You can try our MAPS and HOTELS.com site, both the PRICELINE and Hotels.com tabs, to see if either has the property on sale, but to try for this property thru opaque means i think is looking for a needle in a haystack.Good luck.
