Carmel as a name-your-own-price area. Possibly included under Orderville but not according to the map and didn't want to take chances.

Very nice people at the desk, large clean rooms with great unfinished wood furniture. We had a balcony overlooking the golf course. Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices and open 'til ten. What a bargain at $56!Mapquest will tell you it's just 24 miles to Zion NP, but know that the west half or so is the spectacular 1930s-era highway with switchbacks, tunnels and steep grades. About an hour each way to Zion. We didn't mind, but if time is short or you don't want to drive this after dark, consider staying west of the park in Springdale. There's a free shuttle from all the Springdale properties right to the park gate.
