Just won this room at $140.

Have been trying bids from $80 up for the last few days. Had bid at $130 and rejected, jumped to $140 was accepted, but probably should have tried $135. Looking on Expedia the prices seem to jump up in May and the Friday night especially.

Has anyone had any success with requesting a room on a high floor from the hotel? We're on honeymoon so maybe can wrangle a room with a view.

Certainly a well-located property, and Happy Anniversary! :) I'd call, let them know it's an anniversary stay and ask if there's any way you could get a higher floor with a view. If they say no, try again at check-in. Let us know if you have any city questions.
