My first bid was accepted and upgraded to 3*. :)

That bid seems high to start for a 2*, you didn't have any previously rejected bids that made you start at that level?

It's mid-week; and I figured hotels would have a higher occupancy rate.

Also, I usually use www.roomsaver.com for hotel stays in the area. Rates are still high till Sept 30.

I used the $48 bid because if I recall correctly, that was the lowest rate for any available properties. And those properties would be rated 1 *. :)

I feel I did good based on that.

I have to say that this property is consistent.

I have 2 stays over the past 30 days here; and they gave me a room overlooking the front awning of the hotel.

Not that I'm complaing. :)

They also have free computers in their business center.

Just as an FYI, I received 42 United Airline miles for this stay. Is it fair to say that this is what Priceline paid for this room? :)
