Hotwire/Priceline + Helping Katrina Victims

This is just an idea I came up with (obviously, not all of the details are thought out), and maybe it's not entirely bright and if it isn't, well, I meant well.

Hotwire and Priceline could inform customers on areas where many Hurricane Victims are/have been moved to, such as the groups that are now currently in the Astrodome. People could bid and/or purchase rooms in that area and mark a "donate" option.

Then, the company would take over from there and somehow (maybe a company representative(s) would be in different locations), a family could be matched up with the donation of a hotel room for them for however long the donation is for.

Again, maybe it won't/can't work, or isn't a bright idea (I know I haven't thought out all the details), but it's just something I thought of this morning.

Or maybe somehow they could have people donate air travel so that families could travel to stay with loved ones?
