reiffleman
Can you please help me identify the following two hotels:#1Bloomington West - 3-1/2 * $52 90% recommendationAmenitiesFree ParkingSmoke Free RoomsRestaurant(s)Indoor Pool(s)Fitness CenterBusiness CenterAirport ShuttlePool(s)Laundry Facilities#2Bloomington East - Mall of America 3-1/2 * $59 90% recommendationAmenitiesFree ParkingAirport ShuttlePool(s)Free Internet Smoke Free Room(s)Restaurant(s)Indoor Pool(s)Fitness CenterBusiness CenterWhat I'd really like is to be able to bid on a hotel and be guaranteed a suite, so my kids can stay in a separate room. I don't have a big preference whether it's Embassy Suites, Springhill Suites, Country Inn & Suites, Crowne Plaza Suites, etc. I don't see that I can select that as a filtering criteria, so I'm not sure how/if I can do that. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet please start by reading your messages. You can't bid specifically on a suite property, as well, even when the suite amenity is listed it doesn't necessarily guarantee a 'full' two room suite as you describe where there is a door that you can close to separate the two rooms... it could be like a Residence Inn type of suite where there is a 3/4 wall that divides the sleeping area from the living area, and no full wall or door separating the two areas. Are you only looking for a full suite for this stay? What are the dates of your trip? Are you including 2adults/2children on the HOTWIRE searches above?Let us know the information above and we'll have a look at these offers. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. reiffleman
No, this doesn't have to be a full suite. The 3/4 wall like you describe for Residence Inn would be just fine. I'm including 1 adult and 2 children on my HOTWIRE searches. I'm looking at March 23 - March 26. Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
Given that neither of these properties shows the Suite amenity i doubt that either is likely going to give you want you are hoping for this stay. But to move forward anyway, if you go back to HOTWIRE and click the SHOW ME button next to each of these offers (the one with the price in it), then on the ensuing page click the 'See all' link under the amenities, do you see more for each then what you've posted above? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. reiffleman
No, I've posted the options below AFTER clicking on the SHOW ME button. Maybe I'll just take my chances, or drop down to 3 stars, as there seem to be more hotels that offer suites - maybe my chances will go up? Link to comment
AaronJB
The only way to really guarantee a suite property is if "suite" is listed as an amenity. You can see the list of hotels reported to the board here: Hotwire Hotel List MinnesotaThank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
