crwest
Used Better Bidding link to PRICELINE.This was very quick and easy. I first offered $15 for an economy but it was declined with a note that I could rebid if I raised the price to $18. I declined and bid $16 for a compact and Hertz took the bait. This was probably because of weekend rates. They indicated that I saved 55%. However it is a 40% savings from Advantage which was on Expedia, etc.3 @ $16 $48.00Taxes & fees 50.80Total $98.80Cheers! thereuare
Congratulations on your success!Glad to see this win came easy for you and that you're happy with the outcome. The savings compare to booking thru the rental company that accepted your bid, not the lowest price of any of the rental companies (especially not one that PRICELINE doesn't deal with on the bidding side of their service)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your trip. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
