erineab Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 I have used Priceline several times in the past to secure a reservation at the Buffalo Marriott hotel, as it has always been the only 3.5 star Priceline hotel in the area.I noticed today that the Doubletree by Hilton Buffalo/Amhert hotel(formerly Hotel Indigo) is listed in Priceline's central booking as a 3.5 star.Normally it wouldn't matter to me if I got the Marriott or the Doubletree, but I need 12 days airport parking this time around, which I know is included at the Marriott, but an additional $10.00 a day at the Doubletree (I called to verify).Better Bidding still has the Doubletree listed as a 3 star....so I just thought I'd check in here on the off chance someone might know for sure if Buffalo Marriott is still indeed the only 3.5 star in the Buffalo area??
AaronJB Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding.Sharing any prior wins (as separate threads) would be greatly appreciated, as the information does help others. As noted on the top of the hotel lists on this site, they show the hotels that have been *reported to the board*. The Doubletree was last reported to the board at 3*, if it is now showing at 3.5* on the retail side of the service, it is now likely 3.5* on the bidding side, as well - but has not yet been reported to the board as such.Is the Marriott long-term parking included for all guests or just as a package deal? If it's a "park and fly" package deal, then that's not included for PRICELINE guests.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

erineab Posted April 16, 2013 Author Report Posted April 16, 2013 Thanks for the responses. I didn't end up using PRICELINE for this particular stay as I didn't want to take the risk. We just drove and used airport parking this time.
