From what I unsderstand Priceline name your own price usually, if not always, beats Hotwire.

I'd like to stay at Ramada New Yorker Hotel. Check in 3/08 - check out 3/15.

Is there an easy way to be sure I'll place a bid on this Hotel? What's the price I should suggest?

kind regards

Welcome to Betterbidding.

There is no way to specify a property when bidding on PRICELINE, which is a trade-off for the discounted rates. When using the service, you bid on a particular star rating and a particular zone or zones (for example, 4* Times Square zone) and have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone/s chosen and at the star rating chosen. HOTWIRE is more expensive, but there is the ability to make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing - that isn't a guarantee and there is no guarantee the hotel you are looking for may be showing for your date/s or even have discounted inventory for your date/s (as it's up to the hotel whether to offer discounted inventory.) Are you only interested in the New Yorker?

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
