thereuare Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. Also, the Crowne Plaza does not include a complimentary breakfast in their standard room rate so even with HOTWIRE you won't be able to target the Crowne Plaza and a free breakfast.Let us know if/how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. kydale520 Posted February 26, 2013 Author Report Posted February 26, 2013 3.5* Crowne Plaza Orlando Universali really like that hotel. would like to stay in the hotel btw march 16-march 19th. ( three nights) and the $90 per night . and hopefully there will be two beds in the room.( me and my friend) note: would also be open to other same-level hotels within that area,Many thanks.
thereuare Posted February 26, 2013 Report Posted February 26, 2013 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Here is your situation/choice...Searching HOTWIRE for 2adults/2children offers a 4* hotel in the Universal zone for $110/nite with:Free Parking Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... as well as a TA rating of 4.5/5.0. Best guess for this property would be the Crowne Plaza Universal which is the hotel you're looking for and by searching for 2adults/2children should ensure separate sleeping accommodations for you and your friend (this usually means two beds but the second 'bed' could be a rollaway brought into the room, a pullout sofabed, etc); but is a little over your target budget.Alternately you could bid on PRICELINE but you'll be subject to any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you choose and there is no assurance that you won't receive a room with only one bed. The trade-off is that PRICELINE will likely be a few dollars cheaper then HOTWIRE.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
