Priceline Hotel: Chicago Loop or North MI Ave. 9/3

I've tried $110 for these two areas for 4* without any success. Does anybody have any suggestions. This is on relatively short notice, but I was hoping for at least the Palmer House for a reasonable price.

Also, what are the re-bid zones for 4* for Chicago? If it is not possible to get this done for $110, what should I enter as a price?

Any advice is much appreciated.

You'll first need to understand re-bidding as you should check your re-bid zones on your own each time before bidding. Please read PRICELINE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding... you have two re-bid zones available at the 4* level.

When did you make your last bids at the $110 level?

I tried $110 for NMA.

Can you tell me which of the two zones are re-bid zones for 4* in Chicago?

There are only a few "areas" to check, and I'm not sure which ones don't have 4* hotels in them.

The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a Priceline page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time.

We can tell you that zone XYZ is a re-bid zone, and then by the time you are ready to bid a hotel could have been added or a hotel may have been upgraded... thus no longer making it a re-bid zone. Therefore, we prefer to have users learn and understand how to check their re-bid zones so that they know how to do it and greatly minimize the chances of ending up in an area that they really want to stay in.
