Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Los Angeles (Downtown) The L.A. Hotel Downtown

I started bidding for West Hollywood at $110. Then I added Hollywood and finally another area whose name I don't recall. I tried those three regions at $140 and 3.5* and got nothing.

Finally I added Downtown to the list and dropped it to 3*. My bid got accepted at $120, but I now wonder if $100 would have been enough for downtown.

I just went to the hotel's website and found the following message:

AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO OUR GUESTS

For the next several months we will be implementing many exciting changes to enhance our guest rooms,

meeting space, restaurants, and other public spaces! During this time, there will be occasions when services will be

reduced or modified to accommodate the exciting changes going on in the hotel. We thank you for your consideration

and very much look forward to pampering you during your stay!

This of course translates to : CONSTRUCTION and CHAOS
