TopherNote
I need to reserve a room for March 12th and apparently I'm bidding too low. Is it too early to get a low price? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment

thereuare
Rates are very high for these dates... using MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find for a 3* or better hotel in the Downtown zone for this nite? What is your game plan moving forward?PRICELINE EXPRESS does have a 3.5* hotel in the Downtown zone with Free Internet, Pool, Business, Fitness for $159/nite... any interest in this OR do you intend to wait it out and hope for lower prices within the next two weeks OR is it possible to lower your star rating and/or consider other nearby zones? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. TopherNote
The best rate on MAPS and HOTELS.com is a 3.5* for $146/night at the Lancaster Hotel. If I could get that price I would probably book it.I may just wait it out and see if I can get something closer to what I was shooting for. Link to comment
thereuare
The best rate i'm seeing at the Lancaster hotel for your dates is $165/nite. HOWEVER, there is a room at this rate that is fully refundable up until March 8th... you could book that now in order to protect yourself from rates moving even higher or selling out completely while you continue to bid over the next 10 days. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
Glad you found something that works well for your plans and thank you for closing this thread. It would be more complete/helpful to others if you posted what you did do for this stay, not just what you didn't do, as in the future it may give another user a lead to follow if they are having trouble getting a win for their own stay in this same area. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks.
