greentrees Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 I will be needing 2 rooms for 1 night on 9/18. There is only one zone listed, so where should I start out bidding and where should I go for each star level?I don't want to pay more than $100 per room. Thanks!
thereuare Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Direct rates are right in between a 'breakpoint', so i would try the following:Select 4* Victoria...Bid $75, if rejected lower to 3* and....Bid $55.If the above is rejected i would repeat for a week, increasing each bid by $10 from the previously bidding attempt.Once you get to $100 at the 4* level you may want to consider going just a bit more, for if the above continues to be rejected, i suspect you may have success ~$110/nite.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and keep us updated. greentrees Posted September 3, 2005 Author Report Posted September 3, 2005 Thank you for your help here, but we found a cute cottage outside of Victoria that worked out to less than I think I would've paid in Victoria ($150 US/night for 2BR).I will post a request about Vancouver separately.
