I will be needing 2 rooms for 1 night on 9/18.

There is only one zone listed, so where should I start out bidding and where should I go for each star level?

I don't want to pay more than $100 per room.

Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Direct rates are right in between a 'breakpoint', so i would try the following:

Select 4* Victoria...

Bid $75, if rejected lower to 3* and....

Bid $55.

If the above is rejected i would repeat for a week, increasing each bid by $10 from the previously bidding attempt.

Once you get to $100 at the 4* level you may want to consider going just a bit more, for if the above continues to be rejected, i suspect you may have success ~$110/nite.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Good Luck and keep us updated.

Thank you for your help here, but we found a cute cottage outside of Victoria that worked out to less than I think I would've paid in Victoria ($150 US/night for 2BR).

I will post a request about Vancouver separately.
