Not sure if your aware of what a "DEAL" you secured for Grand Prix Week-End! Several years ago I planned going to the Annual Montreal Beer Festival, bought airfare, secured rental car and (then) found out it just so happened to be the (same) week-end as the Grand-Prix! Needless to say I had to abort the Trip because I was unwilling to pay over $200@night to stay for a 4 day minimum at a 1 Star Hotel with (zero) refund or cancellation policy. Curious, did you check the Hotel Du Fort to see what their regular "rack" rate was per night for that week-end? I`m sure you saved a fortune!
