djlee79 Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Hi, I'm looking for a 4* hotel in the midtown east or midtown west. Would it possible to get some assistance with a bidding strategy? I saw a win for the Intercontinental for $150 in February but I'm thinking that I'll have to be willing to bid higher for March. Thanks in advance!
djlee79 Posted February 15, 2013 Author Report Posted February 15, 2013 further to my original post (wasn't able to edit..)My max price is $200/night all in.I've been reading about rebid zones and had a question. If i prefer midtown east, i could start there and then add zones that don't have 4*. If unsuccessful, could i close the browser and then start with midtown west and add zones that don't have 4*? If that strategy is possible then i would do the same with times square. I'm hoping that would be possible rather than having to wait 24 hours for each attempt.thanks again
thereuare Posted February 15, 2013 Report Posted February 15, 2013 Please start by following-up your previous Priceline Rome thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip. Then in regards to your trip above, in your first post you only mention MTE and MTW, but in your second post you also indicated TS, are all three of these zones acceptable? What about CPS and/or ESB which are both also bid at the 4* level? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
djlee79 Posted February 15, 2013 Author Report Posted February 15, 2013 Sorry, I completely forgot about the topic i posted about Rome. I just added my comments to that post. Poor etiquette on my part.MTE, MTW, and TS are acceptable zones. Thanks for the suggestion but I'd prefer these zones over CPS and ESB. thanks again
