tkwbear
I recently bid $69 for a 3* room in Anchorage. The bid was rejected, but I was told if I raised the bid by $17, I would "more likely" get a room. I did, and got the Sheraton, which is an excellent hotel. The question is, should I have bid less than $86? My experience with Priceline is that high $80s work, but last year I got the Westmark for $79. It was fine, but not as nice as the Hilton or the Sheraton, both of which I have stayed at before via Priceline.Does anyone know of Fairbanks hotels available through either Priceline or Hotwire? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
