raidermac Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 Need helping bidding on hotel near airport in Miami that offers free shuttle to airport. going to be there on 5/31. What is the star level to try that should offer shuttle. What price is good starting point for each level.Thank in advance
thereuare Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! While most hotels in the airport zone will offer a shuttle, it's not a guaranteed amenity. You could research all hotels reported in the zone in the Priceline Hotel List and determine your minimum star rating based upon your findings there, but still a bit of a risk as 1) you could receive a new hotel not yet reported to the board or, 2) you could received a hotel that has been upgraded since last reported to the board. If a shuttle is a must have i would sooner use HOTWIRE and choose a hotel that shows the Shuttle amenity listed OR search PRICELINE EXPRESS for a hotel that displays the Shuttle icon.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. raidermac Posted February 12, 2013 Author Report Posted February 12, 2013 Ok, hotwire.com it is. Shuttle is a must due to late arriving flight and earley departure. I went to HOTWIRE and was looking at the 3* for $76.00 a night. it is in the airport region. any help identifying would be great.
thereuare Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 Just how late is your arrival and how early is your departure... with any service the Shuttle amenity listing doesn't indicate that it is 24/7, so you'll want to at least have a guess as to the hotel offered and then confirm if their shuttle hours (if not 24/7) will meet your needs (and then hope you guessed right!)What are the amenities associated with the 3* hotel that HOTWIRE is offering? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. thereuare Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 Is that the full list of amenities associated with this property?I'm seeing a 3* hotel in this zone for $76/nite but it has many more amenities:Shuttle Smoke Free Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Golf Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower Please confirm if this is the complete list or if you're only seeing the amenities you had listed above. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. raidermac Posted February 12, 2013 Author Report Posted February 12, 2013 Yes, that seems to be the one. I must have left off those last amenities
bmw745ion19s Posted February 13, 2013 Report Posted February 13, 2013 you could always just pay for a taxi, they are readily available in the area at all hours and with the savings it might be worth gambling and seeing if they have a shuttle or not. most of the small hotels will probably not offer a shuttle at all hours.
thereuare Posted February 13, 2013 Report Posted February 13, 2013 The Crowne Plaza Hotel Miami Airport would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
