thereuare
I don't think that $100 is likely enough for a 4* hotel for these dates, but if you'd like to give it a try:When bidding 4* in NYC you have SIX re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* CPS, Chelsea, ESB, MTE, MTW, TS and Soho...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $88, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $93, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $98, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. Keith B
Any luck? Bidding NYC for the same weekend and this may help give me a feel for what I will need to reach to win. Thanks! Link to comment
mtbscott
I've been bidding (through these PRICELINE links) for the same dates all week stopping at $90 for 3*'s. All areas of Manhattan except for Morningside Heights/Harlem, so far no luck. I've got a cancellable reservation at a 2/2.5* UWS hotel I've stayed at before that is perfectly acceptable, so I'm not willing to go higher in price. I'm hoping I might get a slightly nicer place for the same price as the dates get closer, but it would appear that your $100 for a 4* is too optimistic. Link to comment
