kingz113 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 First win in Priceline and pretty happy that I got a decent 4* hotel at a good price, especially since its the Easter weekend.I'm coming from Australia and this site has been invaluable for its resources. Easter is generally a fairly celebrated event in Australia, just wondering hows the celebration like in Washington DC during the Easter weekend? Will it be busy and can we expect long queues everywhere?
thereuare Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success! Glad to hear the board has been helpful with your travel plans and that you're pleased with the results. While i don't have DC-specific experience around Easter, it's a fairly major holiday in the States (many stores will be closed on Easter Sunday), but i wouldn't expect the city to be extra busy, and perhaps even a bit on the quiet side. It's a slow time for business travel and therefore half of the potential city visitors are 'out of the equation'.Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
