Thanks for your reply AaronJB. Very good advice on all counts. While having a pool would be nice, saving as much money as possible on a good hotel is more important. So, I rolled the dice again...this time at $83.... and, as you guessed, we got the same hotel, Thompson Toronto, on the first bid. I guess it was just meant to be. Haha.

Btw, Priceline gave me a total credit on our credit card. So, we saved a few more bucks, in any event, and from the reviews, it looks like a very nice, modern hotel.
