irishcailin Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Hi Folks,First time posting and completely new to the world of bidding for hotels. We are planning to visit Toronto this August for approx. 10 days. I haven't booked flights yet as I'm hoping to be able to see what kind of cost hotels are coming in at for some time in August, probably around 14 August I'm thinking at the moment. I would hope to be able to budget $110 per night if possible (less would be great!) and would ideally like a hotel with a pool (3 or 4 star) We will be travelling with our then 3.5 year old so the room would need to accommodate all of us. Can anyone please advise me on the best way to proceed? Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my post.
thereuare Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! To get an idea of pricing use our BiddingHelper.com (search box in the middle of the page at the top of the board)... select 2adults/1child and you'll be able to see rates from HOTWIRE as well as compare them to 'retail' rates from Hotels.com. This should give you a ballpark idea of rates and you can user various date combinations to see how rates go up/down based upon the actual dates searched.Once your dates are confirmed let us know and we'll take it from there. Any other questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
