Nati Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Hi,I'm going to be in NYC on 03/30-04/07. I would like to stay in the following areas: Midtown West, Midtown East, Central Park South, Times Square - Theatre District, Madison Square Garden - Convention Area or Empire State Building Area. I tried to bid in PRICELINE without success, offering $102 for a 3 star hotel. Was my offer too low? What do you recommend me? Can someone help with a bidding strategy? Thanks in advance!Natalia
AaronJB Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Unfortunately, if your offer was not accepted, it is too low. While this isn't the busiest time of year, it is not the slowest time of year and rates are moderately high. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay? Unfortunately, it will likely take at the very least a moderately higher bid. Are you looking for 3*?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Nati Posted February 9, 2013 Author Report Posted February 9, 2013 Thanks for your answer. I was thinking about spending no more than 120$ per night. A 3 star is ok for me.I didn't try again with a higher offer because I was not sure if my strategies were fine. Thanks
