Priceline Hotel: 4* Fort Lauderdale (Beach) Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel

My wife had posted on here when we were looking. We usually get the Renaissance in Plantation for around $65, but nothing came up until we added the beach. I suspected it would be the Hilton Marina or Hyatt Pier 66 and was surprised that it was the Sheraton.

We followed a tip here and joined the free Starwood Rewards and sure enough got an upgrade to the Marina Tower facing the ocean.

Reviews were really pretty mediocre for the Sheraton, but we found it to be great. Wonderful friendly staff, great service on the beach with lounge chairs, two infinity pools. It was a great stay on Superbowl weekend.

Another thing, I had never used PRICELINE for car rental before. I bid $11 per day and got Hertz for about 1/3 of what they seemed to be offering on any of the sites I looked at.
