Tar Heel Traveler Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 The hotel's site says the lowest grade room is the "Economy Petite Single Room," which contains one single, twin-sized bed. I do not know if it was possible that I could have gotten this room, but I chatted with a PRICELINE agent immediately though just in case. She called the hotel and confirmed me for a King Deluxe room! So I ended up with an even better room than the "Traditional Room," which has a full-sized bed.
AaronJB Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding.Very nice deal for this extremely historic property and hope you are looking forward to your stay.PRICELINE rates only guarantee basic non-upgraded rooms, although glad you were able to work out an upgrade in this case.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
