dogbert75 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Started the bidding at 35 a night and worked my way up with a gradual increase strategy, aiming for 45 a night as highest bid. Won at 45 on final bid. reviews led me to be a little nervous and not so happy about parking fee. We checked in yesterday and were given a room in the two story buildings surrounding the tower. Remind me of the saying about slapping a coat of lipstick on a pig. Beds are hard. Rooms don't feel very resorty at all. Kids have enjoyed the pool, so i can't say it has been a total wash. Spoke with Manager at check-in and parking fee cut in half...let's see if check-out confirms this. Not saying i wouldn't stay here again, but it sure wouldn't be my first choice.
