Or is it too early to bid the hotel for April? Thanks!
thereuare Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding!Nobody can say if rates for your dates will drop, or move higher, between now and your stay. It all depends upon how actual demand (new reservations and cancellations) come in relative to expectations. However, rates are date specific and can vary substantially from one day to the next.As an example, i found this $85/nite winning priceline bid for the LA Hotel Downtown which is for around the same dates as your own:Rates 3/8-3/11: $169/niteRates for Your Dates: $269/niteI didn't check other hotels vs. previous wins so but this at least serves as a good example. When retail rates are much higher, so likely will the needed bid to win on PRICELINE.Using MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best available rate retail you're able to find at a 3.5* or better hotel in this zone for your dates? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.w Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
