I was originally just wanting Saturday the 9th, but that was almost impossible or more expensive than doing 3 nights at $99. So I guess I am making a weekend out of it. I originally bid $80 and was offered a counter of $99 which was fine with me since it is Mardi Gras weekend. I always start out about a week out and usually low ball the bids to test the water to see how low they will accept is my strategy when it comes to bidding. But I am excited I checked online and to book the room at normal rates it was $289 a night about a 65% savings per night. And yes I used the links originating from this site. Thanks a lot.
