thereuare Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet please start by reading your messages.Nobody can say if rates will come down, or move even higher, between now and your stay... it all depends upon how actual demand (new reservations and cancellations) come in relative to current expectations. For more on this subject see the related 'Bid Early or Close to Check-in' link in our PRICELINE FAQ.Best guess for the Downtown property would be the World Center Hotel. For the Chelsea property if you doublecheck i believe this property is 2.5* rated by HOTWIRE. Not sure if at this star rating you're still interested in this property, but it has not yet been reported to the board or identified. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 This would be a likely match for the Bedford. You can find a list of the hotels in NYC reported to the board here: Hotwire Hotel List NYCThank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
BKlein Posted February 4, 2013 Author Report Posted February 4, 2013 Thank you so much for your help. I think I will wait a while before booking!I really want to live somewhere around meetpacking but it seems to be hardto find bargains in that area but i'll keep looking!
thereuare Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 You may want to look at HOTWIRE's Chelsea zone, and if the PRICELINE / HOTWIRE zones are too geographically large for where you want to stay, try our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com which makes it easy to find a hotel in your specific location as well as to visually see how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating OR higher/lower in star rating. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Keep us updated on your progress and let us know what you decide or if we can be of further help.
