Re-learned all about the 'zones' you can add when searching for a 4 star plus that don't have 4 star hotels to offer. Made the rebid process soooo very easy. Anyway, getting on a plane in a few hours and need a hotel for 3 nights. Thankfully there were recent posts of people searching for roughly the same time period. Figured I would get a deal @ $105, but wanted to play the game. Started at $85, and went up in $5 increments. Sure enough, $105 and was locked in. $315 for 3 nights, tax of $76.47, total $391.47. Any I made sure I started with the Better Bidding PRICELINE link!After completing the booking, and reading around reviews, it seems that the major gripes on all travel sites about this hotel is that the staff is less than polite, and the place needs to renovate and clean up the place. Can anyone speak to these issues? And that any seasoned traveler would never consider this place a 4 Star hotel, 3 Star at best. Thanks for reading.

Reviews at this property are a bit mixed, but a number of recent reviews have been pretty good. Additionally, given the high retail rate of NYC hotels, there's certainly instances of reviews with considerable issues, but I think with the high retail rate of NYC hotels, that creates understandably high expectations that aren't always met.
