Looking to book 1 night in Cape Coral, FL (Feb. 5 - 6). On Hotwire I see a 3* for $68 a night and a 2.5* for $66 a night in the Cape Coral - North Ft. Myers area.

It would be great to get a 3* for less than 68/night in the Cape Coral - North Ft. Myers area.

Acceptable Zones: Cape Coral, Fort Meyers, Fort Myers Beach, Gateway to the Islands, Sanibel & Captiva Islands, South Ft Myers & Airport (RSW)

I assume you mean PRICELINE's Cape Coral zone? (as PRICELINE does not have a 'Cape Coral - North Ft. Myers' zone)

If correct, we went over this in your previous thread... PRICELINE does not offer any 3* hotels in their Cape Coral zone. The 3* hotel that you're seeing on HOTWIRE either:

1) is lesser rated on PRICELINE

2) doesn't participate with PRICELINE

3) is in a different zone on PRICELINE (given that PRICELINE and HOTWIRE each use different zone boundaries)

I don't think you're budget will be enough for a 3* in the Fort Myers Beach or Sanibel/Captival Isalnds zones but to try:
