OniAndYoshi Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Hmm. This is a bit bizarre. There are 3 5* South Strip hotels listed for my Feb 9-Feb 11 dates. One is $111/nt and fits all the criteria for Vdara, one is $135/nt and fits all the criteria for Aria - the last one is $151/nt and has no amenities listed. It does say that it has a 4 from Tripadvisor and an 85% rating by Hotwire customers. All the ratings are 4.5 except location, which is 5 and service which is 4. I have to think it's Cosmopolitan. What do you guys think? This review makes me think it REALLY is the Cosmo:"This was the most awesome hotel I have ever stayed at (and I typically only stay at 4* or better). I loved the flat screen tvs, the japanese soaking tub, the incredible views. I also loved that I could adjust the room temp, lighting, music from the tv remote control. I didn't like that you had to pay to use most of the pool lounge chairs, however if you get there early (8am) you can claim some free ones easily. Very trendy and great location. Would not bring the kids, but that applies to all of the LV strip."
thereuare Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you haven't yet, please start by reading your messages. While i don't see any reason to exclude the Cosmopolitan, i also wouldn't use the information above as the sole factors in guessing a hotel's ID.While i think the Cosmopolitan has started to charge a resort fee, i don't think it has been reflected yet on the HOTWIRE offering for this property, so the fact that this hotel is not showing a Resort fee is at least one more reason to think the Cosmo would be a distinct possibility. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
scottgreen007 Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I think it is the Cosmo. They refer to the tubs as Japanese soaking tubs. And the fact that the person used the trendy. Please let us know what you find out.
