Mynoles1 Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 I want to use PL for the first time. I've searched this board and seen quite a few stories about people getting the Hyatt Key West Resort & Marina. My question is simple, but yet perhaps impossible to answer. What are my odds of getting the Hyatt over the Wyndham(s)? I see that both have hit, but I really want the Hyatt (anniversary - we spent our honeymoon there), but I just can't pay the rack rate. What are the odds (September 2005 trip)? Anything in advance I could do to enhance my chances? Thanks, my first post here.

Mynoles1 Posted August 26, 2005 Author Report Posted August 26, 2005 Hotwire wasn't much help.I am looking at staying 9/15, for 3 nights, or can change it to 9/16 for 2 nights. If nothing else, I'd like the benefit of opinions on the chances that I will get the Hyatt over the Wyndhams. 50/50? Less?I figured that bidding more wouldn't enhance my chances of getting the Hyatt, so I was not thinking of doing that. I just like the idea of our recent successful bidders of getting a sub-$100 rate! Thanks in advance.
thereuare Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Both the HYATT and the WYNDHAM appear to be sold-out for your dates, so the chances of you getting either of them are greatly diminished, although sometimes we do see users win properties that show sold-out on the hotel's website.
