AlwaysBooking Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Booking a last minute trip to NYC arrving tomorrow 1/29 and departing 2/1. Used your PRICELINE link and started with Midtown East bidding at $75 per night. Added rebid zones and won the Roosevelt for $100. I was a little surprised as I've walked by this hotel many times and never thought it was 4*, but I'm happy to be convinced otherwise. I'll report back after my stay.
AaronJB Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Congrats on your success. :)Great last-minute deal for this property and hope the hotel will live up to expectations.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
AlwaysBooking Posted February 6, 2013 Author Report Posted February 6, 2013 Don't know if this was proper place to post (please feel free to delete or move if not) - but the hotel was very nice. However, if there were such a thing as a 3.75* hotel, I think I'd give it that as opposed to 4*. Compared to the other 4* hotels I've stayed at in NYC it's just slightly below, overall. Great staff, wonderful old NY feeling to lobby, rooms on the small side.
thereuare Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 Thanks for the follow-up... glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
