Priceline Hotel: Las Vegas strip advice

Looking for a deal on hotel on the strip. 3* and above, something close to Caesars. Anything north of Wynn is too far. Prefer not to be beyond Tropicana on south end.

I realize these are pretty tight restrictions, but I have other options to fall back on should I not be able to do this. But thought if anyone would have suggestions or if it is even do-able, this is the place to ask.

My limit per night is $125 and I'm not willing to split hotels.

You could get a room at the BOARDWALK for as little as $115/nite, but i don't know if that meets your 3* requirement in your eyes.

I assume your back-up hotel does not fit the criteria you laid out in your original post?

I actually stayed at the Boardwalk the last time I was out there. (May 2005) It would probably fit the need since I wouldn't be hanging out in the room all day long anyway. Was hoping for something a tad nicer if possible. But looking at the options out there now, does not seem likely.

You have any opinion on the Luna Park rooms at the Boardwalk? I stayed in the tower last time.

The backup option is bunking with a buddy who is arriving a day later. So I could get a room where he is staying for the night before. And the total cost for both nights would be around $200 for me that way. Therefore the specifics with the location, $$, etc..
