I decided to bite the bullet and book this hotel through your HOTWIRE link.

Yes your guess was 100% correct.

The Hotel is the Loews Hollywood.

First time staying in Hollywood. The Hotel looks good and I'm pretty happy with the price.

Thanks for your assistance. I only need to find accomodation in SFO and NYC now.
