It's my first time to bid a room. Net price 70 per night. acceptable but not statisfy with it since it's just 78 on hotwire. anyway, anyone familar with this hotel? Is it clean and safe? 15 min walk distance to TS?

Sorry to hear that you're a bit disappointed by the deal, but this is an extremely nice win - I think at this price point you're not far at all from the "floor" for discounted rates. I definitely think it's at least a bit less than 15 minutes from this property to TS.

Both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE are opaque services, so i wouldn't compare your PRICELINE savings to what it would have cost on HOTWIRE, but rather the best price you could get for this hotel where the name is shown before your purchase.

Depending upon what part of Times Square you're going it will be a 10-15 minute walk... or it's two stops on the 1 Train.
