thereuare Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! The amenities for the MTE property are very common in NYC, but some guesses for this property would be the Roosevelt (if downgraded from the 4* level), The Lexington New York City, or the Hilton Manhattan East.I don't have a guess for the MTC property as just about every hotel in NYC offers Internet access. ;)However, at the rates i'm seeing for each of these hotels i don't think either would necessarily be my first choice. Do you have any specific needs for this trip or is it just a general 'tourist in NYC' stay? What is your maximum budget per nite? thereuare Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Please post only the amenity names (and not the descriptions) as you can see how much easier it is to read and helps minimize the chance that we'll miss an amenity when researching your trip.4-star Hotel in Times Square - Theatre DistrictFitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in ShowerThis one might be the Crowne Plaza but i'm seeing some 'cross currents' that make me have my doubts and reason to believe it may be something different... i can't say with any degree of certainty.4-star Hotel in Midtown EastFitness Restaurant Business Hi-Speed Internet Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Roll-in ShowerBest guess for this one would be the Doubletree Metropolitan Hotel New York. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Janine1121 Posted January 22, 2013 Author Report Posted January 22, 2013 Hi again, and sorry for the detailed descriptions... I am a "newbie". I wanted to let you know that I went with the 4 star Times Square - Theatre District area hotel. I paid $146.00 per night and got the Millennium Hotel Broadway. I hope I did well considering that other sites have it listed at $185.00 to 190.00 per night. Booking through the hotel itself does not go lower than $235.00 per night. Thank you for your assistance.
thereuare Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Congratulations on your success! Looks like a nice deal for this centrally located hotel over the Valentine's Day holiday (which often drives up the price of hotel rates)Hope you're happy with the results and thank you for sharing your win with the board.
