Hi everyone,

In truth I made a huge mistake with this reservation, choosing the wrong dates. I am supposed to be in Toronto only in April.

Anyway, despite my error, here comes the info:

1st try: 4*, US$ 70, Downtown Toronto North (4) and Downtown Toronto South (5) - denied

2nd try: US$ 75, added Brampton (1) - denied

3rd try: US$ 80, added Burlington (2) - accepted by Hyatt Regency.

While PRICELINE bidding purchases are non-refundable, you may want to try giving the hotel and/or PRICELINE a call to see if they're willing to make an exception to their rule or change your reservation to the future dates you need.

Hi,

Thanks for that idea. I called priceline and explained that this was my first time using their website. They have then issued a partial refund and will refund the remaining when I make it again with the correct dates, charging US$ 25 as cancellation fee.

I feel much better now! :-) I was mourning over those US$ 300...
