Priceline Hotel: 3* San Antonio (Downtown - Riverwalk) The St. Anthony Riverwalk Wyndham Hotel

Just got the 3* St. Anthony Wyndham for $67 for two nights. I started with bids at $48, looking for 3* and higher, increased by $2 increments, adding non 3* zones. This week/weekend has the largest music convention in the world, so I didn't anticipate rock-bottom prices. With taxes and fees, the total for two nights was $165, about $20 cheaper than than Hotwire's "hot rate" total price for an unknown 3* in a possibly less centralized location.

List price on the Wyndham is $152 a night. Hotels.com is offering it for $135 a night. So, I probably got a good deal for the time and location. NOTE: BetterBidding's hotel list classifies this hotel as a 3.5*; Priceline is now listing this as a 3*

Besides the Music Convention, this stay also includes Valentine's Day which is traditionally a very busy and high demand nite for hotels. Given the Valentine's holiday, and the music convention, this would seem to be a very good deal!
