thereuare Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please change the drop down menu on the top right of HOTWIRE's page to United States and the currency dropdown to US Dollars. Then continue to search HOTWIRE and post to the board in US Dollars so that rates are consistent and not subject to interpretation due to future currency fluctuation. Once you're ready to purchase stay on the US version of their site and simply change the drop down menu to whatever currency you'd like to use and complete your purchase.Need 2 x Double Double Rooms. Please define what you need... 2 rooms with 2 beds in each room? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. PhilD Posted January 17, 2013 Author Report Posted January 17, 2013 Hi,Yes need two rooms with 2 double beds in each room. 20th - 22nd May5* North Strip $292 5* South Strip $18322nd - 24th May 5* North Strip $1775* South Strip $117Would prefer, Wynn, Encore, Cosmopolitan, Venetian, Bellagio.Ideally would prefer under $185 a night per room. Thx
thereuare Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Yes need two rooms with 2 double beds in each room. How many rooms/adults/children are you including in your search? To ensure separate sleeping accommodations in the room you'll need to search for quad occupancy per room... otherwise all that is guaranteed is a room that will accommodate double occupancy, which at the higher rated hotels in Vegas typically means one bed, as they have started to charge extra for rooms with two beds. Also, when searching for quad occupancy per room you'll have separate sleeping accommodations, and while this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a rollaway brought into the room, a pullout sofabed, etc.How many rooms/adults/children are you including in your search above? If not quad occupancy per room, does changing the search to indicate quad occupancy per room change the offers and/or price... OR are you willing to take the risk of booking for double occupancy per room and only having one bed in each room? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. PhilD Posted January 18, 2013 Author Report Posted January 18, 2013 Did the search with 2 rooms 4 adults, which I assume is 4 adults per room so should require 2 double beds.
thereuare Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 No, the number of guests in your search is total for all rooms, so you would need to search:2rooms/8adultsHowever, if you'll really only be two adults but each wants separate sleeping accommodations then i would first try 2rooms/4adults/4children as sometimes using children as the extra occupants doesn't increase the price like it sometimes will when using adults as the additional guests (but if you'll actually be 4 adults in each room then i would search 2rooms/8adults)Do you see same offers and prices as you have previously indicated? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
