Priceline Hotel: Question about NYC 2* hotels

First time in NYC and using priceline. Any ideas for the bidding strategy 2* MTS located hotels?

We'll be there 11/18 - 11/23

What is your budget?

Also, is the MTS zone the only zone you are willing to accept? Are you sure you are comfortable with bidding for a 2* property?

Our budget - if we talk about 2* hotels - is 130$

BUT if there is possible to get 3* (or more) hotels, we can talk budget about 160$

MTS is not the only one. MTE and MTW are also acceptable... We just try to keep quite low budget :)

What about UM/CPS... is that an option as well?

If the above maximums are bid amounts you may have a shot at the 3* level, if total amount (including fees and taxes) i'm less confident.

We really don't see much 2* bidding in NYC... and there is a good reason for that.

Let us know about the zones and bid amounts and we'll suggest a strategy.

PS- at the 3* level you'll have one re-bid zone, if you're not familiar with re-bidding please read RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zone with the board.
