plken Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Hi:) I'm hoping for some help on bidding on a hotel in Fort Lauderdale January 28-29 2013. This will be just a one night post cruise stay. I'd like a four star preferably close to the airport and cruise terminal to avoid paying hefty taxi fees to either one. I started out looking in zone 2 Downtown and started my bid at 70 and have raised it up to 105 and still it has been rejected. I'm open to other options like possibly a 3.5 star, but I think I would like to keep it in zone 2 unless someone else has had a good experience with another zone before/after their cruise. I'm a bit of a newb so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

However, I would consider 5, I'm just worried that I'll end up too far away from the airport and I don't want to spend a fortune on taxi fares. $110 is really the maximum I want to bid. I would prefer a 4* but would consider 3.5* as well. Thanks!

Nice pool area, walking distance to many restaurants, close to the port, etc. $106 seems a decent price to me.
