What is a good price for this time of year in New York (mid-May) and when would be the best time to book a hotel?

Yes this is a different stay than what was previously posted.

The 4* Downtown would be a possible match for the Doubletree Financial. The 4* MTE amenity set could be a number of different possibilities, but my guess would be the Roosevelt.

There is no way to know for sure whether or not rates will go up or down closer to the stay, but May is a busier time of year with nicer weather. Timing is discussed in greater detail in the FAQ

Thanx for the follow-up and closing this thread. Please remember to always follow-up your threads with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancel your trip, etc.

It would be more helpful to others if you included what you did do for this stay, perhaps it will give another user an idea for when they're having trouble with their own stays
