12asher Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Need help and advice on bidding for a 5 star in zone 16(theater district). How can I determine which 5 star hotels are in this zone? Priceline bidding site lists 9+,but only 4 are shown. any advice will be appreciated. 1bull
AaronJB Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Is this for the same date/s as this prior NYC Priceline thread? Are your date/s confirmed yet? Timing questions were also replied to in that thread, and more detail is available under the FAQ.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
12asher Posted January 14, 2013 Author Report Posted January 14, 2013 No. the timing question was answered. In addition to 4 star hotels,I thought I might bid on 5 star hotels. My question was about PRICELINE's listing which show only 4 five star in zone 16 but on their bidding page they show 9+.12asher
12asher Posted January 15, 2013 Author Report Posted January 15, 2013 Forgive me for the last post. I made an error on stating that the bidding site showed 9+ five star hotels. The 9+ means their rate score NOT the number of hotels with a 5 star rating. So I am assuming that there are only 4 five star hotels in zone 16(Time Square). 12asher
thereuare Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Is this for the same date/s as this prior NYC Priceline thread? Is this for the April/May 2013 trip referenced in the link above? If your plans are firm what are the dates of this trip? Also, please use the zone names and not the numbers, as this will avoid any confusion in the future since the zone numbers will change as PRICELINE adds, removes, or renames zones, which does happen from time-to-time.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

The hotels that have been reported to the board in NYC can be found on this list: Priceline Hotel List. Only one 5* has been reported to the board, but there may be others. Additionally, not all 5*'s on the retail side may participate on the bidding side.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
